Brief Description:

Moroney Electrical worked with Finna Construction and Varming Consulting Engineers on this project. The project was delivered flawlessly and handed over on time.

The works consisted of a full fire station fit out inclusive of a modern office fit out complete with General Services, General Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, IT Installation and Security.

Thorn Lighting provided the light fittings throughout the offices. Thorn 4000k lighting provides effective anti-glare illumination which is perfect for an office setting.

The appliance bay houses three fire trucks under bright 4000k high bay Thorn lighting, absolutely necessary for this area as it illuminates in between and around the trucks. The fire trucks are linked to Ludo Sockets which snap and release during emergency call outs so the trucks can drive away without manually unplugging.

The main building and the Drill Tower are fitted with Lightning Protection systems which was supplied by ADS & Associates.

The fire alarm was completed by Guardian Fire & Safety.

The premises is secured by Intruder Alarm, CCTV & Access Control which was completed by Phonelink Security.

Thorn Lighting provided the site street lighting which work perfectly by illuminating the road and pathways.ACEC Distributors provided the emergency light fittings throughout the building and managed to achieve the required 100lux to all areas that form part of the emergency escape route both internally and externally.

We also installed road lighting to the Tipperary County Council standards. Philips Lighting provided the road lanterns and we installed them on 8m galvanised and powder coated columns. The road lighting is perfectly designed & delivered to illuminate the external roadway outside the perimeter of the Fire Station site.
