Brief Description:

Moroney Electrical Contractors were awarded this project in February 2024 with a programme of 27 weeks to completion. We delivered the project flawlessly and on time. MEC worked with Ganson Building & Civil Engineering and BDP Consulting Engineering in the construction of a new purpose-built special school at Block Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, comprising of 8 classrooms, a general-purpose hall and ancillary accommodation, along with all associated site works which included the construction of lighting to the car park and play areas. MEC also supplied, wired and installed lighting to a pedestrian crossing outside the boundaries of the school for the Laois County Council. This project was delivered under a Public Works Contract, the project provides modern, high-quality educational facilities tailored to the needs of its users.
